Did an Ethiopian Princess found a modern city in Iran ?
“Zobide, or Zebi-el-Khewatin, was an Abyssinian princess who died in 831 A.D. Celebrated for her piety and generosity, she is said to have founded the city of Tauriz, or Tabriz, one of the most important in Persia.”
